AnasSarkiz/pedometer

A four-layer Bluetooth pedometer PCB built around a bare TI CC2340R5 MCU, 48 MHz/32.768 kHz clocks, 2.4 GHz antenna matching network, battery charger/fuel gauge, accelerometer, regulator, USB‑C, OLED/SWD connectors, and supporting passives/protection.

# AnasSarkiz pedometer fork validation

Verified locally on 6 October 2026. Upstream source: imrishabh18/pedometer@1.1.3.

This fork retains the manually reviewed CC2340 pin capabilities and documented
board GPIO/I²C roles from the local TI test. It contains no firmware request
`.sysconfig.json` file. Datasheet capabilities and selected board functions are
separate; the import merges each board pin declaration into its datasheet attributes.

Additional compatibility changes:

- Physical pin numbers in six schematic arrangements, with display labels retained.
- C5/C13/C18 rotated 180° to resolve crossed-pad orientation findings.
- Existing board `isViaInPadAllowed` declaration matches the upstream BGA policy
and the existing autorouter `allowViaInPad` setting.
- Consistent published Core 0.0.2095, Props 0.0.689 and Circuit JSON 0.0.517;
tscircuit 0.0.2745. No local package links are required.
- The release check creates its report directory on a fresh clone.

## Results

- Typecheck and netlist: pass (0 netlist errors/warnings).
- Full build and placement/routing/continuity gate: pass (169 routed traces).
- Shorts: none detected.
- Programming continuity: all five J4 signals reach the MCU.
- Board tests: 18 passed, 0 failed.
- Native TI check: seven generated files from the complete routed Circuit JSON.
  TI SysConfig 1.28.1+4785; SimpleLink F3 SDK 9.21.00.36.

The TI check uses the unmerged converter PR #8
(https://github.com/tscircuit/circuit-json-to-sysconfig/pull/8) and CLI PR #255
(https://github.com/tscircuit/ti/pull/255). Publishing the board does not release
those tools. For request-free generation, use the versions from those PRs until
an official release includes them.

## Limits

Startup levels, interrupt triggers, bitrate and RTOS were not invented in the
board metadata. Where the board makes no declaration, the TI SDK retains its
defaults. Application firmware, flashing and hardware behavior are untested.

Strict schema checking still finds upstream PCB exporter issues in numeric
display offsets and null component ownership on board-level silkscreen/holes.
These were not removed or patched from the exported Circuit JSON. The added
source pin declarations and native SysConfig path pass their checks.

Inherited manufacturing ZIPs and fabrication reports are from the upstream
revision. They are not newly validated manufacturing outputs for this fork.
