RGB STATUS REVISION — 2 November 2026 (local only)
LED9 + U19 + R43-R47 + C45 added; use regenerated outputs from this revision.
C965840 RGB supplier drawing p8 used; verify sample orientation against that drawing
(the older manufacturer PDF conflicts). Green/blue brightness needs bench check.
RGB light pipe at (13.3,-23.8) added to rear cover. Existing camera-tail width,
CPL orientation, component sourcing and electrical qualification holds still apply.
Prior October fabrication archives do not contain this circuit.

LAMP CLIP HEAD PCB — ENGINEERING PROTOTYPE FABRICATION
28 October 2026. Use outputs regenerated from the same checked circuit.json.

PCB
- 60 mm round FR-4, 1.6 mm nominal, FOUR copper layers: top / inner1 / inner2 / bottom.
- Outer copper 1 oz, inner copper 0.5 oz. Do not substitute 2 oz without rechecking geometry.
- ENIG finish; black solder mask / white silkscreen. CAM must review fine-pitch mask dams.
- All vias THROUGH the full stack, 0.30 mm drill / 0.45 mm copper.
- Minimum via drill-edge gap 0.20 mm; corrected board minimum is 0.20318 mm.
- Exposed-pad vias require EPOXY FILLED AND COPPER CAPPED via-in-pad processing.
A software flag or ordinary solder-mask tenting is not a substitute for this process.
- Four 3.2 mm M3 mounting drills are NONPLATED. The 0.5 mm microphone acoustic
aperture is also NONPLATED and must remain open, clean and free of solder/paste.
- Export distinguishes plated drills/slots from nonplated drills. Do not merge the files.
- Local signal escapes include 0.09/0.10 mm widths; wider nominal tracks are retained.
Manufacturer CAM must inspect fine-pitch neckdowns and mask-to-copper registration.
- USB impedance and converter current/thermal performance are not certified by DRC.

ASSEMBLY
- Both sides populated. J3 is a through-hole JST XH 8-pin header, soldered by assembler.
- J2 is FH19SC-24S-0.5SH(09), JLC C6947608, NOT the old FH12 part.
- L1 XFL4020-152MEC, L2 LPS5030-103MRC and SW2 TL3305AF160QG have exact
manufacturer part numbers and custom lands but no assigned JLC stock code.
Obtain/consign the exact parts; do not silently omit them or substitute by value.
- U4 INMP441ACEZ-R7 is a prototype-only obsolete selection. Use verified genuine
stock matching the land pattern; a replacement microphone needs a pin/footprint audit.
- Review supplier footprint variances rather than replacing intentional datasheet lands:
reading LEDs use the manufacturer's smaller land pattern; microphone has a port
aperture and ground escape; generic passive lands use different solder allowances.
- Use 0.10 mm stencil at J2 per Hirose recommendation. Assembler must approve
stencil thickness/aperture reductions for all QFN exposed pads and the microphone.
- Supplier placement metadata is incomplete for eight parts in the raw CLI export.
Verify L1/L2/SW2 and LED2/3/5/6/7 in assembler preview against the manufacturer
drawings and PCB pad/net polarity. Do not accept an unchecked automatic rotation.

CAMERA / INITIAL HARDWARE
- FH19SC matches nominal contact length (2.5 mm), stiffener (4 mm camera, >=3.5 mm
recommendation) and 0.30 mm tail thickness. Inspect actual tail width: camera
allows +/-0.10 mm, connector recommends 12.50 +/-0.05 mm. Physical insertion,
pin 1/contact side and retention remain unqualified; never force an oversize tail.
- Start bring-up on a current-limited 5 V USB source with battery disconnected.
Keep light/audio disabled until rails are measured. Current selection remains
100 mA fallback /500 mA authorized charger input; test loads individually.
- Attach the external antenna before Wi-Fi testing. Camera, RF, audio, converter
current/thermal behavior, USB attach/detach and charging require hardware tests.
- Protected 1S battery and insulated cell-mounted 103AT-2 NTC are required for
battery/charging tests; match the cutoff to the actual cell's permitted temperatures.

Manufacturer CAM/assembly acceptance and prototype bring-up remain required.
Passing software checks is not approval for production quantities.
