# STM32 Expansion Lab V6 — diagnostic prototype

**NOT FABRICATION-READY. Do not order this PCB from a successful build badge.**

144 components, 140 × 120 mm, two copper layers, nine schematic sheets. Includes the STM32 core, USB power, GPIO expander, LED/button banks, filtered GPIO and four shared-bus I2C expansion ports. V3–V5 sources are retained as implementation dependencies; the entry point is V6.

## Known blockers

- I2C SDA via to STM32 PB8 / EXP_INT pad clearance is 0.0678 mm versus the board's 0.1 mm minimum. Different nets; not an existing copper short.
- Pill-shaped holes cause a routing-check exception in checks 0.0.208.
- An independent trace/via geometry exception aborts copper-pour DRC. A successful build does not mean validation completed.
- Schematic layout warnings, unverified component footprints/part selections, and through-hole paste concerns remain. Parts selection is intentionally disabled for this diagnostic build.

The netlist and PCB placement DRC pass; Gerber-mode shorts checking reports no shorts, with non-round-hole rendering limitations. This is not manufacturing approval.
