USB-powered ATmega32U4 controller board with protected/switched 5 V power, six tactile keys, rotary encoder, reset/boot/ISP interfaces, power LED, and six daisy-chained SK6812 RGB LEDs driven through MOSFETs.
# Macro Six USB-C
A six-key USB-C macro keyboard with an ATmega32U4 controller, a rotary encoder for volume and mute, six addressable RGB LEDs and a power switch.
The 110 × 68 mm PCB uses two copper layers and components placed on the top side. The schematic is arranged across two sheets.
All six keys use C49234237 / CPG151101D06 switches with their linked supplier-library OBJ and STEP models. These plate-mount switches require a support plate.
The package includes the board source, Circuit JSON, schematic, PCB and assembled previews, BOM and placement file. The PCB manufacturing files target two-layer, 1.6 mm FR4 with 1 oz copper and have passed the recorded local geometry and connectivity checks. See outputs/release/VALIDATION.md and PCBA-READINESS.md for the checks and assembly requirements. Supplier DFM review and assembly approval remain required; no physical prototype is claimed.
The 3D view shows an open base and support plate with four M3 × 10 mm screws, a power-slider extension, and captive Reset/Boot pushbutton extensions, plus reference keycaps and knob. The sculpted keycaps have numbered legends, an ivory finish and a teal sixth key; the fluted charcoal knob has a metallic inset and teal indicator. These are CAD-only parts and are excluded from PCB fabrication and assembly placements. Use `<MacroKeyboard includeEnclosure={false} />` for the bare-board model. The PCB geometry and checked manufacturing ZIP are unchanged.
The complete open-assembly STEP, printable control-extension/support-plate STL files, switch-fit coupon and assembly instructions are in `enclosure/MACRO6-ENCLOSURE.zip` and `enclosure/README.md`. Digital checks cover component and fastener clearances, the assumed 18.5 mm keycaps and control travel. Physical switch-clip engagement and actual keycap/knob fit still require testing; no printed prototype is claimed.
