# Design review record

## Scope

The design implements only the requested handheld functions: ESP32-S3 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, a button-controlled monochrome OLED, USB-C power/data, navigation controls, reset/boot controls, and two LEDs.

## Verified results

- Four native schematic sheets with ANSI-B cell boundaries.
- Pin aliases visible on the USB-C, protection, regulator, ESP32-S3, and OLED symbols.
- 67 top-side components; no bottom-side placement.
- All fitted components have JLCPCB/LCSC supplier identifiers.
- No pin headers, JST connectors, battery, charger, NFC, sub-GHz radio, infrared, microSD, touch interface, or Linux module.
- Two-layer 90 × 60 mm board with a bottom ground pour.
- Official local capacity-autorouter route completed with zero router errors and zero jumpers.
- tscircuit PCB checks: zero errors.
- Final routing: 164 traces and 116 vias.
- Independent copper continuity: 35 nets, 199 terminals, zero failures.
- Gerber bitmap short check: all copper layers pass at 40 pixels/mm.
- Four schematic sheets, PCB top/bottom, assembly drawing, and 3D render visually reviewed.

The remaining schematic warning and the supplier-rotation metadata warning are documented in `docs/tscircuit-issues.md`.

The USB-C receptacle uses plated mechanical shell stakes because the selected JLC part requires them. All of its electrical contacts are SMD.
