# Fieldkit USB
Fieldkit USB is a compact USB-C-powered ESP32-S3 handheld for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth firmware projects. It has a fitted 1.54-inch 128 × 128 monochrome OLED, six navigation buttons, reset and boot buttons, and power/status LEDs. It does not contain NFC, sub-GHz radio, infrared, microSD, a battery, a charger, pin headers, JST connectors, a touch screen, a wheel, or a Linux computer.
The board is 90 × 60 mm, 1.6 mm thick, and two layers. All 67 fitted components are on the top side and every fitted part has a JLCPCB/LCSC supplier number. The USB-C receptacle is electrically SMD and uses four plated shell stakes for mechanical strength.
Power enters through USB-C at 5 V. An AP63203 buck regulator creates 3.3 V for the ESP32-S3 and logic. An MT3608L boost converter creates 12 V for the OLED panel, and a TPS22810 load switch lets firmware apply the OLED panel rail after logic power is stable.
The schematic has four native ANSI-B cell-boundary sheets:
1. USB-C and power
2. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controller
3. Display and OLED power
4. Buttons and status LED
The saved route was produced with the official local `@tscircuit/capacity-autorouter` 0.0.954. It completed with 164 routed traces, 116 vias, zero jumpers, and zero router errors. The final tscircuit build has zero PCB errors. Independent physical-connectivity validation connects all 35 nets and 199 electrical terminals with no failures, and the Gerber bitmap check finds no shorts.
Manufacturing outputs are in [`fabrication`](fabrication/README.md). Firmware pin assignments are in [`docs/firmware-contract.md`](docs/firmware-contract.md), assembly notes are in [`docs/assembly.md`](docs/assembly.md), and exact tscircuit findings are in [`docs/tscircuit-issues.md`](docs/tscircuit-issues.md).
