abse/gameboy-advance

Validates and exports a four-layer Game Boy–style PCB assembly with RP2350 MCU, 32MB flash, USB-C, LCD and speaker connectors, battery buck-boost power, buttons, and verified routing, connectivity, clearances, CAD models, and physical DRC.

MODEL / ENCLOSURE REVIEW FOR0.0.36

SW_L andSW_R retain their imported C231320 OBJ/STEP models. Explicit cadmodel
components move both by+1.375 mm in board Y, restoring supplier pin origins
at(-54,39.6,.8) and(54,39.6,.8). Four pins per switch align with their holes.
No shoulder footprint, trace, pad, mounting point or cap dimensions change.

All114 supplier meshes were checked against compiled footprint contacts.
The mesh contact projection audit uses the PCB mid-plane for through-hole
pins and a small solder-height band for SMD contact surfaces. The four bare
test pads do not require component meshes. ALPS volume control has no sourced
full supplier model; its inaccurate generic bounding box is suppressed.
Its wheel remains a clearly identified drawing reference and its housing
clearance is verified using the manufacturer dimensional envelope.

ALPS RK10J12E002L drawing page2 specifies9.3 mm stake spacing. Its imported
footprint used10 mm; the two untraced mechanical stake holes now match9.3 mm.
Electrical pin rows and all334 trace branches/499 vias are unchanged.
The14 mm wheel is0.9 mm thick within a1.8 mm seated assembly; its centre is
nowZ2.15 mm above PCB coordinate origin, rather than the provisionalZ4.15 mm.
The outer wheel window is lowered2 mm. A hidden internal pocket clears the
housing while preserving the exterior opening and0.75 mm local lower rim.
The wheel projects0.975 mm beyond the main exterior top edge.
ALPS page3 terminal layout confirms the used channel:common pin1, wiper pin2,
end pin3. The other channel is intentionally unused.

77 component/enclosure fit checks pass. Corrected shoulder travel and battery
latch checks pass37 cases. All43 assembly-access checks pass. The final front
relief removes material only; it cannot introduce new assembly obstructions.
All17 printable parts are watertight, consistently wound and connected, with
open heat-set mounting pilots. Updated print pack and assembly views are linked
in the mechanical notes. Physical printed tolerance, button return, flex bend
limits, cable strain relief and control feel still require a prototype test.
