This code defines the physical pin layout and 200-ball footprint of the Micron MT53E1G16D1ZW DDR4 SDRAM chip, including pad positions, signal assignments, and qualification of pin attributes for PCB integration.
# MT53E1G16D1ZW-046 WT:C tscircuit component
Datasheet-matched tscircuit component and PCB footprint for Micron's 16 Gb,
x16 LPDDR4X/LPDDR4 SDRAM in the ZW 200-ball TFBGA package.
The footprint intentionally uses explicit `<footprint>` and `<smtpad>` tags.
The standard footprinter BGA string currently supports only a single pitch,
while this package uses 0.80 mm column pitch and 0.65 mm row pitch. Columns 6
and 7 and rows L and M are unpopulated. The package outline is 10.00 x 14.50 mm.
Every physical ball is selectable by its JEDEC-style coordinate (for example,
`.U1 > .B2`). Unique functional signals such as `DQ0`, `CA0`, and `RESET_n` are
also aliases. Repeated power, NC, and DNU balls use coordinate-qualified aliases
such as `VDDQ_B3` to avoid ambiguous selectors.
Pin attributes mark every `VSS` ball as required ground; every `VDD1`, `VDD2`,
and `VDDQ` ball as required power needing local decoupling; and every `DNU` ball
as `doNotConnect`. NC balls are excluded from generated board pinouts but kept
distinct from DNU. `VDD1` and `VDD2` additionally carry their fixed
1.8 V and 1.1 V requirements. VDDQ supports both LPDDR4X and LPDDR4 modes, so no
single voltage is imposed on it.
