# Dual-board saved PCB routing
`dual-route-plan.json` is the completed route plan for the 55 × 45 mm dual USB-PD stepper board. `dual-saved-routing.ts` supplies it through the local routing interface. Core regenerates copper, vias and ground pours and runs the normal checks. The default circuit entry point uses this plan.
The input guard rejects changes to pads, placement, connectivity or routing rules. Regenerate and recheck routes after such edits; do not bypass the guard by replacing `expectedInput` alone.
All 119 electrical nets are physically connected. Native routing diagnostics, shorts, clearance, mounting, drill and board-edge audits pass. Motor/input load paths use outer copper with at least 0.3 mm exposed width. Both driver thermal-via arrays connect fully to the ground layers. See `../dist/dual/validation.json`, `../reports/`, and `../engineering/dual-routing-status.md` for the current evidence.
Run `bun run verify`, `bun run check:manufacturing`, `bun run check:shorts`, and the exported-file audits after changes. The board is a routed prototype; application firmware and physical/thermal validation are still required.
`route-plan.json`, `saved-routing.ts`, and `ground-pour-selection.json` preserve the original single-motor reference. Their reports are under `../reference/`; they are not validation of the dual board.
