The USB-C and Micro-B contact geometry, edge profiles, and signal mappings are
adapted from vasya-zh's **PCB-Edge-USB-connector-KiCad-library**:

https://github.com/vasya-zh/PCB-Edge-USB-connector-KiCad-library

Source revision: `909b6ed3d7b6456c385dab109aba96fdece8a3d9`.
The upstream library is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3;
the complete license is included in `LICENSE`. Original footprint and symbol
files are retained in `vendor/pcb-edge-usb` for reference and verification.

Changes made on 2026-09-20: converted the two footprints to tscircuit components;
mapped KiCad coordinates to insertion along +Y; centred the USB-C outer ground
contacts at local Y=0; converted edge arcs to polylines with segments of at most
10 degrees (maximum chord error below 0.004 mm); added 0.025 mm mask expansion;
omitted the inherited metal-connector 3D models and nonexistent shield pins;
kept every USB-C contact electrically separate; added typed aliases, board
examples, and automated checks. Source pad sizes and copper faces are preserved.

The existing USB-A implementation retains its previous geometry, referenced in
README.md; this update renames it from UsbAGoldFinger to UsbAEdgeConnector.
