# Compact vertical Mac hub
Connected schematic and top-side placement design for a direct-connect USB-C Mac hub.
- 32 mm × 92 mm four-layer board body with a Molex 105444-0001 USB-C male plug
- Mac-facing male USB-C plug on the right edge
- Left-side port stack: RJ45, two USB-A, USB-C, and HDMI-A
- Real imported JLCPCB footprints and 3D models for every receptacle
- HR911130A four-pair through-hole Gigabit Ethernet magjack (JLC C54408)
- USB5744-I/2G USB 3.2 Gen 1 four-port hub controller (JLC C633621)
- RTL8153B-VB-CG USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet controller (JLC C2802072)
- PS176 DisplayPort-to-HDMI 2.0 converter (JLC C209703)
- CYPD4225-40LQXIT USB-C PD / Alt Mode controller (JLC C5457117)
- HD3SS460RHRT reversible USB-C / DisplayPort lane mux (JLC C2150882)
- JLCPCB-selectable TLV62569 regulators, TPS2553 port-power switches, clocks, inductors, passives, and TPD-series ESD protection
- Reference-design support networks: 3.3 V and 1.2 V bucks, RTL8153B 1.0 V switcher, current limiting, oscillator loads, bias/strap parts, AC coupling, and local decoupling
- Functional USB, DisplayPort/HDMI, Ethernet, USB-C CC/control, power, ground, and shield nets
- Auto-layout schematic sections for host, USB, video, Ethernet, power, and protection
- All populated parts are constrained to the top assembly side (`doubleSidedAssembly={false}`)
- Four-layer local autorouting is enabled with automatic copper pours and a 0.15 mm default signal width
Run `bun run preview` to rebuild the schematic, PCB, and 3D placement renders in `dist/index/`. Run `bun run preflight` for type, source, netlist, pin-specification, and PCB-placement checks.
The Mac-facing connector is Molex 105444-0001 (LCSC C134082), a 24-position USB-C male straddle-mount plug.
## Manufacturing status
The component selection, JLCPCB identifiers, top-side assembly constraint, connected schematic, and collision-free placement are prepared for routing validation. This is intentionally **not yet a fabrication release**: autorouted copper still needs controlled-impedance review, differential-pair spacing and length matching, return-path/via review, plane validation, and Gerber DRC. The PS176 clock, REXT, configuration straps, and firmware/configuration method must also be confirmed against Parade's controlled reference design before ordering boards.
