# Footprint and model attribution
Battery connector, UART-buffer and GNSS footprints were converted from the KiCad footprint library and checked against the selected component drawings. The JST battery connector and VSSOP-8 3D assets were converted from KiCad STEP models to JSCAD geometry. KiCad library contributors provide these under [CC BY-SA 4.0 with the KiCad design exception](https://www.kicad.org/libraries/license/).
Source library items:
- Connector_JST / JST_PH_B3B-PH-K_1x03_P2.00mm_Vertical
- Package_SO / VSSOP-8_2.3x2mm_P0.5mm
- RF_GPS / u-blox_SAM-M8Q (pin-compatible land pattern, checked against SAM-M10Q drawings)
The GNSS model remains a nominal envelope created for this board. The radio and inductor models have been replaced by manufacturer-published geometry, as has the ESP32 model and every resistor model. See `manufacturer-models.md` for exact sources, transformations and outstanding parts. Unreplaced imported models retain their previous library provenance. The radio model includes its onboard IPEX connector; the attached cable and external battery are not modeled.
