# Direct manufacturer speaker connection

Speaker: Same Sky CMS-28588N-L152A, 8Ω, 2W, Ø28×5.5mm, originally supplied with152±5mm lead and Molex51021-0200 housing. Manufacturer speaker drawing explicitly names Molex53261-0271 as the mating connector. J7 now uses exact imported Molex53261-0271 / JLCPCB C177225 footprint and CAD, at PCB(15.2,24.3), world(-21.8,15.2,38.6), opening toward speaker wall. Both header and housing drawings corroborate mating, pitch1.25mm. No adapter or custom connector is used.

User-authorized cable modification: cut original lead and fit new standard Molex50079-series26–28AWG crimp contacts in the original51021 housing. Modeled free insulated lengths from speaker terminal exit to housing wire exit: red27±1mm, black23±1mm. These lengths include a modest service bow and clear the PCB support ledge. The earlier12mm length cannot reach the direct board connection and is superseded. Strip/crimp lengths are additional and determined by the contact drawing/tool. Preserve red→J7pin1/SPK_P/U6OUTP; black→pin2/SPK_N/U6OUTN. Neither speaker lead is ground. Verify continuity and polarity before power. No user soldering is required; recrimping requires an appropriate tool.

Manufacturer mated dimension5.2mm sets housing wire-exit X=-25.984, Y15.2, Z40.4mm. Housing4.25wide×3.95long×3.2high uses manufacturer-drawing-derived stepped CAD; fine details are illustrative. PCB header is imported JLC CAD. Manufacturer drawing PDFs are saved in docs/research/speaker/. Exact supplier mating specification provides compatibility evidence; CAD is not physical fit validation.

Wider header requires shifting the ground probe TPG2 from(20,25) to(20.4,25). Carrier mounts, enclosure, PCB pose, speaker mount and other connectors stay unchanged. Routing, native DRC, manufacturing and nominal CAD checks must pass before publication. No hardware purchase or physical validation has occurred.
